PLZZ HELP, DO YOU HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE? CAN A ADULT WEST HIGHLIGHT TERRIERS GET ALONG WITH A KITTEN?

I have a 7yr old male west highland terrier that is very placid. I am getting a 6 week old kitten on friday and am worried he might try to attack the kitten due to his type of breed as I am told his type of breed are used to hunting. Does anyone had a adult terrier then later introduced a kitten? And if so did they manage to get along? Any tips if so? Thanks x
