Is this appendicitis?

sometimes i get pain in my lower right abdomen that feels like scratching your skin when it is cold (sorry,weird explanation ) and then when i put some ben-gay on it, it goes away. Im eating normally and going to the bathroom but was wondering if this sounded like the early signs of appendicitis?
