Getting HIV tested?/?

I'm suppose to go in tomorrow to get tested for HIV, I'm currently under the weather and have a cold, if I'm sick will that make any difference at all or can i go and still get tested? The only reason i say this is cause i know when testing for HIV they look for the antibodies that are trying to fight off the virus well if my body currently has antibodies trying to fight off the cold virus that won't make it look like those are HIV antibodies during the tests right? I mean whoever does the test would be able to tell that's a cold virus instead of the HIV virus?
