Why are atheists outraged that Richard Dawkins became a Christian?

It's more like people of Jewish heritage than actual religion. He considers himself 'culturally Anglican', in that he was raised by Anglican parents and attended Anglican church when he was younger. It doesn't mean that he believes that communities supernatural beliefs, but was part of that community.
