Wii won't show the wii remote arrow?

I had the same thing happen to me with the cursor, it wouldn't show up on the TV. It turns out something was wrong with the Wii Sensor Bar (The black skinny thing you put on top of your TV) and i had to get a new one ordered. Try checking to see if it is plugged in all the way, or if there is anything wrong with the wire.
