So me and my friend saw 2 little gnome like creatures running down the street, has anyone seen this before?

I've seen two white dwarves. Dwarves and gnomes generally help work with plants and minerals. Chances are the two with the bag had it full of metal. The gnomes and dwarves (they intersect with various forms of categorization) are obviously trying to contact you. You should meditate on this.
