Do you think having emotions makes us weaker as a species?

A weak man is controlled by his emotions, a strong man controls his emotions. Without emotions then everything would be meaningless. The major motivation for us to act is out of love, hatred, anger, or other emotions. If nothing makes you mad or happy, then you have no incentive to do anything. Without emotions we all become predictable, emotions give us an X factor.
