If someone is aquitted is the crime they were charged with kept on record?

if someone is charged with a ual ault is the charge kept on their police files and will social workers have a record of this also, and if someone is aquitted in a magistrates court for the same offence why would the cps say that it would have been a different outcome in a crown court. and if I wanted to complain about court ushers and a defendants solicitor were would i start to complain. I have the site up for legal complaints service but it only seems to be regarding a solicitor representing yourself rather than a defendants solicitor.
