Coon footed horse/DSLD put down?

I think it would be selfish to keep him alive just to be in pain and be stuck in his stall. If there was a good prognosis and stall rest and time would help then I would suggest doing what you could. Since it doesn't look good for him it would probably be best to put him down now while he's at least somewhat comfortable and is still happy. I'm sorry to hear about this. It must be hard with him being so young.
